This starts out as a decent little thriller with Hopkins on fine form as a manipulating, scheming defendant. Gosling works perfectly as the career-driven young lawyer determined to see justice done.
Sadly, the big "reveal" is a let-down and not worth all the build up beforehand. Definitely one for fans of Hopkins or Gosling though.
