Review of Fracture (2007) by David F — 22 Aug 2011
It's a decent movie, I suppose. Though, the plot is a little ridiculous and filled with a couple plot-holes. If Crawford was such a genius, how did he not see the loophole in the double jeopardy? I think he would be genius enough to decipher this one for himself.
He's one of those geniuses that is only genius because of the ineptitude of characters surrounding him. The Gosling/Hopkins face-off wasn't as awesome as I've read. It's pretty standard.
Hopkins just isn't that interesting of an actor to me. Overall, it's enjoyable enough to not be terrible, but not good enough to be memorable.
