Review of Fracture (2007) by Matthew O — 10 Jul 2012
A jealious husband shoots his wife and what looks like a open and shut case for the Assistant DA, turns into a cat and mouse game, for the two leads. Fracture is a fun piece of hokum the plot is straight out of an epoisode of Columbo, but it is a very well made film.
With surprisly good cinematography, and good performances, Hopkins especially. Ryan Gosling as the DA office is irritaing and tries to hard to be the next Tom Cruise but effective.
