Review of Fracture (2007) by Mloy X — 23 Dec 2012
"Even a broken clock is right twice a day.".
--- Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkins).
This was pretty cool, but then again the deck was stacked since I already liked the lead actor, Ryan Gosling (DA Willy Beachum) and Anthony Hopkins (Ted Crawford) is a great actor to begin with, so you know, you're in for a fairly good film. The whole idea of the film was intriguing (but I'm not truly sure if it would work in the real world), but the idea is cool. Throughout the film, it kind of feel a little all pointless because it just seemed that Ted Crawford was going to get away with murder, you're just waiting how he'll get away with it and when the case against him gets dismissed, it was a little anti-climactic because you knew it was enevitable. The last third of the film was the actual brilliant part of the film; pretty friggin' clever I thught. I liked it! The film was cool and the acting was credible, nothing over-the-top, pretty simple and straight-forward.
