Review of Fracture (2007) by Annie G — 01 Nov 2009

This movie starts off with an enticing performance by Anthony Hopkins, which leads you to believe his obviously superior intelligence will result in an "aha!" twist at the end. Unfortunately, the feeling the viewer is left with is not "aha", but rather, "duh!".

Saw it coming from a mile away. Excellent performances by Hopkins and Gosling, however, make up for the lack of ambition in the plot. It's worth sitting through if only for this.
