(2007) Fracture.
DRAMA/ SUSPENSE/ THRILLER.
Basically, the set up for this whole scenio does not reveal much when a husband's wife gets murdered leaving the only person connected to it is her husband because of her wife's frequent affairs with a particular police officer. The husband played by Anthony Hopkins then gets arrested leaving viewers to wonder about the big question whether or not he can be charged for something without knowing how it's done, and that question is left to the hands of the crown prosecuter played by Ryan Gosling. All this it is are two actors trying to outsmart one another in a cat-and-mouse game of whether or not the husband can get away with her murder without figuring out how it's done whatsoever for this is unlike any "court" film I've seen before and is extremly well made. From the Daniel Pyne story but the way it's made is like a well made book.
3 out of 4 stars.
