Review of Fracture (2004) by Manon M — 01 Jan 2011
So so court film starring Ryan Gosling as a prosecutor trying to prove Anthony Hopkins (who's defending himself) attempted to murder his wife (which he clearly did since e see it at the beginning).
The acting is good but I felt it needed a better script. It seemed like the whole idea of finding the gun was too small a task, like, if this was in another court film it would be a minor scene, but in this film it's pretty much the entire conflict of the film.
But anyway, I wasn't too drawn into the film, it seemed pretty clear how it was gonna end, I just didn't really seem to care how it got to the ending.
