Review of Foxy Brown (1974) by Alexander A — 11 May 2010
Pam Grier has more than enough strength and charisma to carry a dull exploitation script into the sort-of-cult status that it's achieved. If you look at it for what it is -- a low-budget mid-1970s blaxploitation revenge movie -- and if you can get past the more poorly choreographed fights, you might very easily be one of those people that helps Foxy Brown retain a sort-of-cult following.
