Review of Foxcatcher (2014) by Rich L — 19 Apr 2015
Very slow moving with limited dialogue, it stays consistent and offers up a shocking ending despite the slow burn.
The three leads nail it down with powerfully restrained performances, but be prepared to watch the story slowly but steadily make it's way.
I won't likely watch it again, but it's worthy of a single viewing for simply observing Channing play an introvert jock and Carrel play an equally quirky guy y yet with a creepy side.
