Review of Foxcatcher (2014) by Dokalu — 08 Feb 2015

I’m just going to say it. Foxcatcher is a boring movie. It has terrific acting, an incredible story, and if you sit down with a bunch of psychologists to deduce everything that happened on screen, I’m sure you are going to have a lot to talk about, for they are going to give to the movie an incredible analysis that you would have never expected.

But you are not going to do that. And the story is told in a very slow way, getting the movie to be extremely long. As I said, is an excellent story about a depressed rich man who never achieved anything in his life; and the ending is quite unexpected and incredible, but everything before it is all very slow and boring.
