Review of Foxcatcher (2014) by Pnw D — 03 Mar 2015

I had seen all the rave reviews for this movie and couldn't wait to see it. But was pretty unblown away. Talk about your slow burn. You could put your hand on this and it wouldn't feel any warmth until the last 10 minutes of the movie.

In reality the real life story had more teeth in the end. Dupont had a standoff with SWAT teams for two days in real life. Was just a let down, Yes, the acting and makeup and prosthetic nose were great.

But no real payoff for the time I invested in the movie.
