An above average sports drama that captures the real image of addiction to greatness. The overall mood in this film is dark, gloomy, and depressing. The dram hits hard with powerful performances by Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, and Steve Carrel.

The make up designs are very realistic and high detailed. The wrestling matches are well choreographed. I would know cause I am a wrestler myself for my high school. And I know what's going in the matches and how believable it is.

For the most part they nailed that aspect of the movie, realism of wrestling matches. I have to say the directing shows characters point of view when it comes to events that happen throughout the movie.

Which I love! The dialogue/ script is amazing! I'm glad it was recognized by others by being nominated for best original script. But I found this to be one of the best dialogue I have witness the year 2014 right next to 'Birdman'! The movie itself does have intensity to it.

Also, has real suspenseful dramatic scenes of dialogue. The ending to this film is pretty sad and depressing. Leaving the movie on a sad strong note that makes the movie even more compelling that it already is.

Ok now your probably asking "Hey what about the flaws in this film?! Get to the point already!" And I will say the flaws of this movie is that it's about 15 minutes too long. In my opinion some scenes should've been placed out.

The beginning is too slow moving even though the makers of the film use this to build excitement but. I just can't buy the snail.'s pace type of pacing. The movie is sort of predictable in a way.

The movie focused too much on Channing Tatum's character except for Mark Ruffalo's. I would like to see if they would've explore more about his backstory and life outside wrestling. And I wanted the movie to explore more into Channing Tatum's character's life after the events with Foxcatcher.

Not go to black when you leave off with more questions to answer. Overall, I enjoyed myself with this film and hope to see it again. It's a little too depressing but I think most people will like it the way it is.

A good sports movie for wrestlers all around the globe. Overall, I will give 'Foxcatcher' a B+!
