Review of Foxcatcher (2014) by Kittie E — 13 Apr 2015
Gorgeously composed, almost reminiscent of a Homer painting. It's a stark look at the psyche of several troubled men. Carrell's acting is masterful. However, much like a classic American oil landscape, there's only so long you can stare at it before boredom creeps in.
Great if you don't mind your cinema long and dry.
