Review of Fox and His Friends (1975) by Darryl C — 06 Jan 2009
If a pollyanna aw this film, then followed it with 'all that jazz', they may commit suicide. fassbinder is merciless and honest in his storytelling. it's hard not to feel sympathy for the main character-he is almost like icarus in his need to keep his undeserving lover content.
also, thinking about something like bitter tears of petra von kant compared to this film, this film is also graced with a clear narrative. and great acting.
