Review of Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) by Matt M — 15 Mar 2013
A committed bachelor falls in love with a woman he meets over the course of five social occasions. The concept itself is enough to place it among the most original and charming of the romantic comedy genre.
The script is also inspired and does not lack a certain wit. Hugh Grant's casting as the bachelor is perfect and went on to impact significantly on his career.
