Review of Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) by Greg C — 16 Jun 2010
A good try...for what it's worth, it didn't completely get on my nerves as I was expecting it would. A bit better than most romantic movies I've seen, but it's not saying much. I could appreciate the writing for the most part, but never at one point did I care for the ongoing angle with Carrie.
..who, unfortunately, was the big focus. The ending kinda killed it, personally. It had something strangely unique about its style until the end, when it became a typical feel-good, formulaic romantic ending.
And why the fuck was Rowan Atkinson in this?!
