Review of Four Minutes (2006) by Mike M — 05 Dec 2008
This movie is really impressive. It grabs you until the very ending moments of the movie which are also, actually the most important moments.
The story has a very good structure. Although the writer inserted many subjects like World War II, forbidden sexual relations, conflicts between generations and German prisons, the story always holds its main axis and do not wandering around.
Casting is brilliant and you can find some of the best European performances in this movie.
Camera and directing are acceptable but I have problems with its editing. The rhythm is some how slow (like many other European films) and it asks for your patient to tell the story.
Anyway, in my opinion, this movie is one the best in its ge.
