Review of Four Lions (2010) by Roly G — 12 Aug 2011
This is a very dry, very dark and very funny (occasionally hysterical) tale of four wannabe jihadis living in London. I was skeptical that a comedy could be made about this subject, but the filmmakers pulled it off brilliantly.
I believe the key to the movie's success is that it avoids slapstick and takes its characters seriously.
