Review of Four Lions (2010) by Grant K — 24 Apr 2013
A pitch black, horribly real quasi-comedy. A sad statement on the stupidity of terrorism and blind faith. Superbly written and acted, but the disturbing and heartbreaking, violent ending sink the whole film.
Which might be the point. I don't know if I can recommend this because its so dark... I'll need to think about it. A shocking film that wins because of its satirical insistence on mocking the completely absurd - the four "lions" in the film.
