Review of Four Lions (2010) by Jake B — 26 Jun 2013
Mel Brooks once said that 'tragedy is when I cut my finger, comedy is when you fall into a sewer and die.' Basically, extreme perception is a good way for comedy; in the case of Four Lions, it's 'what if the Three Stooges were terrorists?' Four Lions is a really funny, dark British comedy that primarily mocks the things it's talking about, because even the 'serious' terrorist, is still a blithering idiot.
