Review of Four Lions (2010) by Bry C — 02 Mar 2014
A British wannabe Jihadist makes his camcorder threat holding an AK-47 unaware it's an "Ages 4-7" replicar from Woolworth's - and is decidedly small - so he's convinced he's sat too far from the camera ...or, one asks, is the viewer sat too far from the screen?
This unique comedy is garunteed to stun it's audience - if not blow it away - as four militant fools plan to bomb anything that counts as 'martyrdome', including their own mosque - and the local chemists!
Brilliantly executed, this comedy is not without feeling, and it tastefully tackles the everyday concerns of a multi-cultural Britain.
At the risk of using a clichà (C), it's a definite must see movie.
