The premise of the film could have gone badly wrong in any other directors hands but talented comic writer Chris Morris has created a very smart film thats aware of itself and filled with quotable lines and quality black humour.
But the real reason Four Lions is complex and gripping is how it crafts humour and the depressing true story it shows us extremely well put together.
