Review of Four Lions (2010) by Jake S — 02 Sep 2013
This is a really enjoyable film, although a sense of humour is required or you may finish viewing and find yourself a little offended. Many classic quotes are uttered in this movie, although sometimes they are over used both on screen and in reality.
Being from sheffield (where this was filmed) also makes it a little less enjoyable for me as I find myself pointing out the errors, for example when the guys get to "London" I am fully aware that most of the scenes are in fact filmed in Sheffield, although that didn't contribute to the 80% rating I gave this.
The characters are particularly likable, and there are many laughs to be had throughout, but as previously stated the most famous quote from the movie is so overused it has lost meaning. This should be viewed by most people, just make sure when you get round to seeing it you aren't easily offended as the ethnic humour may be a little on the distasteful at times.
