Review of Four Lions (2010) by Nathaniel B — 21 Sep 2012
It's quintessential british satire found nowhere else, tackling one of the most volatile topics around today; terrorism. In society, neither are much of a laughing matter (least not in any decent way).
Chris Morris throws a comedic curveball and delivers a film that manages to marry extremism with calamity in a way that feels real rather than slapstick. Taboo yet terrific, no less than what you'd expect from the genius behind Brass Eye.
