Review of Four Christmases (2008) by Claus M — 20 Mar 2010
Neither terribly funny nor particularly festive, "Four Christmases" finds Vaughn and Witherspoon doing their best with weak material. Several scenes left me scratching my head, wondering what exacty I was watching and why.
For a movie that attempts to espouse the benefits of procreating, the "jump-jump" sequence, where Witherspoon beats the tar out of several little bastard children, appears to send a different message entirely.
