Review of Four Christmases (2008) by Shawn E — 01 Aug 2011
Vince Vaughan & Reese Weetherspoon play a couple who are happy as they are without the pressure of marriage & children. They play out a happy life doing things without tedium & keeping things fresh within their relationship never doing anything repetitive.
They exclude their family from their lifes especially at Christmas where they make up stories to avoid their "crazy families" & go abroad on exotic holidays. But things go pear shaped when their flight is grounded due to heavy fog & accidentally appear on tv for all their family to see.
They then surrender to the fact that they'll have to see their families, with both their parents divorced four different trips are on the cards. What seems to be a nightmare scenario soon makes Reese Weetherspoon realise her biological clock is slowing ticking down & is she missing much more dear to the heart than a exotic holiday!!
