Simply awful. Grating, unfunny, awkward, contrived and forced as all hell. Vince Vaughn is clearly trying but just can't get out any decent laughs, and Reese Witherspoon doesn't pull enough weight to compliment him, and they share almost no chemistry to make up for the jokes and situations that come off as alternately tired and mean-spirited.
