Review of Four Brothers (2005) by Ville I — 08 Feb 2009
A clumsy film that wastes its good premise completely. What could have been a decent vigilante film turns to something out of comic books or a bad RPG adventure as the titular brothers shoot and beat their way through Detroit while avenging the death of a rather creepy grannie who keeps popping up as a ghost.
Cartoony villains and shitty acting is one thing, but when the fil tries to be realistic and showcases one unrealistic scene after another, its just bad. See "Payback" for a good vengeance film.
