Review of Four Brothers (2005) by Lynne N — 28 Jun 2009
It's a mistake to look too hard for a deep and meaningful message in this film, although it seems to want to pretend it has one. In reality this isn't really much more than your straight forward revenge flick.
It does entertain better than most though - largely because of a good, sharp script, well choreographed action and the great cast. The chemistry between the eponymous four brothers is also heartwarming in places (something you don't often expect from the genre).
Worth a watch but not a revisit.
