Review of Four Brothers (2005) by Chelsea K — 18 Jul 2010
Meh- alright enough to watch on a lazy sunday afternoon after finishing all the usual chores before the workweek but not enough for me to run out and buy it- this movie happened to be on the boob tube and I took it in yesterday.
Expecting absolutely nothing - probably because when it came out in theaters, it didn't especially grab my attention, I was mildly entertained and not totally disappointed. The premise is pretty implausible, the acting is- well, what do you expect, really? But some of the dialogue actually gave me a chuckle and I didn't fall asleep.
Once was more than enough for this one. I don't think I'd whine if I went to a friend's house and this was playing in the background, though I'm sure I'd question their movie acuity of they were to expouse its merits.
