Four Brothers was a different take on the typical ultra-violent action movie. The premise behind the story was four step brothers banding together to avenge the death of their adoptive mother. Their mother gave them a second chance when others had turned away.

The story was heart-felt and emotional; it went against the typical cut-throat "take no prisoners" attitude. Audiences actually got to see tears from Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson, which gave the story a more emotional edge that action movies don't tend to explore.

The acting was really great; Mark,Tyrese, Andre and Garrett played the ultimate brothers and the bond they all shared was incredible; it made all those death scenes much harder to stomach. I'll admit the tears were close to flowing towards the end of the movie, but I held it back.

I loved the number of twists in the story; I thought the plot was going to be simple, but I was wrong. The ending was simply to die for and it was heart felt to see Mark's character become the living embodiment of everything his mother stood for.

I really enjoyed all the intense actions scenes too! From the car chases in the snow to the shoot- out at the house, it keeps audiences holding their breaths. All and all, Four Brothers has all the edge-of-your-seat action moments and a truly touching story.

Everyone should see this movie because it appeals to so many different audiences. Plus a couple of shirtless and bum shots from Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, and Garrett Hedlund isn't bad either :).
