Review of Four Brothers (2005) by Evan C — 03 Aug 2010
This is such a great movie. John Singleton is one of my favorite directors, he has never put out a movie that has disappointed me. I'm also a huge fan of Tyrese Gibson, Andre 3000, and the one of a kind Terrance Howard.
With such a strong cast like this you can't go wrong. This movie did such a great job of depicting the atmosphere and surroundings of Detroit. Although many critics argue that this is such a typical revenge film, they really don't give it a chance.
This movie is so much fun to watch. The action scenes are amazing, especially the one shootout that lasts about two minutes. This movie is just flat out badass. The whole movie from beginning to end is quite predictable, however the characters depicted in the movie are so well developed, and you can easily connect with their struggles.
Overall, the plot is quite predictable, as many of the "critics" have pointed out, but this movie is so much fun to watch it can't be missed.
