Review of Four Brothers (2005) by Linda C — 11 Jan 2011
Some clumsy directorial vision (especially the dinner scene where the brothers "see" their dead mother, but the performances get better as the story goes along. The problem is that the story is fairly straightforward, though it tries very hard to be clever and twisty.
The ending is anti-climactic to boot. Still decent enough film to see once. But I think Singleton is on the wane as a director.
