A highly entertaining action flick with a serious plot and legitimate depth as a whole. Mark Wahlberg is his usual self playing the strong-headed, Bobby Mercer. Supporting characters like Terrence Howard, Tyrese Gibson, and Andre 3000 from Outkast are also terrific in their respective roles.
Your favourite moments will be the banter between the brothers which adds to the comedy and family aspect of everything. The film has a strong sentiment revolving around family and past mistakes that must be fixed rather than most nonsensical revenge stories.
It has a decent blend of humour and appropriate action sequences to keep anybody interested. A good film that is recommended for anybody looking to delve in a passionate, gritty tale in the heart of Detroit.
