Review of Fort Apache, the Bronx (1981) by Jennifer O — 22 May 2004
Session 9--9/10 :fresh: Damn. I saw this twice last night, and I am about to see it again. I'm obsessed with this film. Liked watching it with the commentary; it explains some things. Hank did not find those coins in a crematorium(sp) it was just a heating vent. Director and writer say so--that's good enough for me.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST--10/10 Feel guilty even trying to review something so good. Just beautiful.
Fort Apache, The Bronx--8/10--love this movie. Paul Newman as a cop in NYC. Come on, what's not to like? Pam Grier--kickass prostitute who murders 2 cops.
SCARFACE--violent, profane, vile, and utterly wonderful. Love this movie. What a terrible freaking accent on Pacino, Pfeiffer is absolutely beautiful in this, but isn't given much to do but look good.
--whatever. I laugh at how truly screwed I am. It is to laugh. Laugh, Clown, Laugh--one of my favorite movies. So sad it gives me actual physical pain. Think I'll watch that one instead of SESSION 9. Yeah. It's Lon Chaney for me.
I am such a dick. Too sensitive about silly things. Damned crybaby, I swear. It was nothing, Jen. Just nothing. Doesn't matter.
