More dramatic than I expected. too long, it got boring. I have mixed feelings about jenny. ok she had a traumatic childhood but she didn't have to fuck up the rest of her life. forrest was a sweet character though, and smarter than everyone thought.

the relationships with his son and the lieutenant were really nice. the ending was bittersweet and I like that in dramas because it could have been really dramatic. the thing I liked most was the history line and the music.
