Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Vamsi M — 18 Jul 2015
Tom Hanks' acting as the lead character is the biggest asset of this film. Other plus points include great historical references, humorous and well-done editing of old film footage, and some sweet moments.
However, the film, running at 142 minutes, feels drawn out, and is overly sentimental and hard-to-believe at times. Overall, a solid film.
