"Forrest Gump" is one of the best films of the 1990s. Hanks gives one of his strongest performance as the titular character in this story of a simple man's journey through the latter half of the 20th century.
While the whole cast do a good job, and the script and direction are fine...it is really Hanks who just excels it to being more. A nice film that manages to mix drama and comedy perfectly.
