I imagine much of the hostility to this film comes from people who feel bad being told that eating plant-based food is much better for you than eating animal-based food. Whether or not you agree with that claim, there is in this film a scathing indictment of the big government/big agriculture collusion that gives us bad nutrition advice and too much corn, which gives us high fructose corn syrup.

I would think that everyone should favor ending farm subsidies and abolishing the U.S. Department of Agriculture after seeing this film.
