Review of Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) by Pramit R — 03 Sep 2013
I wouldn't put it up there at the top of Judd Apatow's finest works; the likes of 'Superbad', 'Pineapple Express' and '40 year-old virgin' still reign supreme in terms of the shear quantity of laughs ensued but this is certainly better than your standard comedy crap that is all too common these days.
All the characters are likeable, it has a beautiful setting with the Hawaii scenery and it definitely has its fair share of funny moments, probably exhibiting one of the more successful attempts at comedy improvisation.
However, the two main reasons for recommending 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' come in the form of Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis. I soon forgot that I was watching this for the jokes. Great job with the casting there fellas.
No man can watch this and tell me they weren't impressed, if they do then they are not into women I can tell you that.
