Review of Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) by Shane H — 25 Nov 2013
A damn good romantic comedy populated by fun, original characters void of situational cliche. There are no good or bad guys to be found here - just people in varying opposite positions. Jason Segel is funny, charming, and lovable.
Kristen Bell, as beautiful as is likely humanly possible, is cute, sexy, funny, and heartbreaking. Mila Kunis is an excellent choice for Rachael, the new female interest of the protagonist. Russel Brand was reliably hilarious with his typically reserved comedy.
Bill Hader and Jonah Hill round out an awesome cast absolutely perfect for their respective roles. Forgetting Sarah Marshall won't disappoint, whether you're looking to laugh, cry, or cheer. No bad blood, no ridiculous confrontations - just life and the struggle to overcome a love spoiled.
