Review of Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) by Ian R — 21 Sep 2014
I thought this film had a good, true vibe. I liked how it wasn't a cut-and-dry, simple, formulaic romantic comedy. I liked that the characters had some depth and relationships were complicated and odd at times.
I thought it was all well crafted and well executed. I may not have laughed with this movie from beginning to end, but I still felt like its comedy was solid. Overall, I felt this film told a good story about relationships that rang true to complications.
It reminded me of Scott Pilgrim in that respect.
