Jason Segel, perhaps best known for his role as Marshall Eriksen in hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, makes the step up into film writing in rom-com Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Another collaboration between Segel and Judd Apatow, Forgetting Sarah Marshall stars Jason Segel, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Russell Brand, and it tells the story of Peter Bretter (Segel) after his celeb girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Bell) abruptly breaks up with him. Devastated by this event, he chooses to go on a vacation in Hawaii, in order to try to move forward with his life and most of all, forget Sarah Marshall, however trouble ensues when he runs into Sarah on the island as she is vacationing with her new boyfriend (Brand).

Claiming to be the âultimate romantic disaster movieâ? on the theatrical release poster, Jason Segel has proved himself to not only be a good actor, composer, puppeteer, musician, singer and comedian, but to also be a very good screenwriter. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is genuinely very funny. That is thanks to Segelâ(TM)s casual littering of sexual innuendo and references and a number of highly amusing performances of an array of interesting and amusing characters, particularly Russell Brand and Paul Rudd whose performances are nothing but hilarious.

Along the way, Bretter meets the hotel receptionist Rachel (Kunis), with whom he falls for, causing tension and jealousy between Rachel and Sarah Marshall; with rather funny consequences. He also meets Kunu (Paul Rudd) a mystical surf instructor whose real name is actually Chuck and a strange newly-wedded couple who have different opinions on sex.

This film is a comedy and if this doesnâ(TM)t make you laugh, I donâ(TM)t know what will. An amusing script, some hilarious performances and nice plot, this film is all you want from a romantic comedy. Oh, and you see Jason Segelâ(TM)s penisâ¦.
