Review of Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) by Anna B — 15 Jun 2013
The serious moments are pretty awful, and the camera is generally locked in some pretty ugly shot counter shots; but the comic timing is really snappy, especially (thankfully) in the editing, and the jokes are mostly good, so it gets the most important thing right: to be funny.
It made me laugh, so I liked it. Still, even the funniest comedies need some energy in their shot compositions.
