Review of Forever Young (1992) by Bastet 0 — 12 Jul 2007

As a kid, I used to watch this with my mom who had the humongous crush on Mel Gibson. Me being a nerd, I was more fascinated with the idea the military might have frozen a man for years on end. As an adult now, I still enjoy the movie for being a different take on a romance story and having some laughs, but there are quite a few bits that are depressing (even for the physically young) when you watch as Daniel discovers everything he knew had changed so much and friends were long gone.
