Review of Forever Young (1992) by Matt M — 14 Mar 2013
Two children accidentally revive a man that had agreed to remain deep frozen for a year in 1939 after his girlfriend remains comatose - instead, he wakes up after 50 years. The story is a little strange, and doesn't quite work out neither in a narrative sense nor in an aesthetic sense; however, this is one of the only times where the romantic ending does not appear sloppy and let the film down but rather gives the whole story a meaning.
