Review of Forever Strong (2008) by Roman 'Addison' M — 27 Sep 2008

Pretty standard sports film with a polynesian/rugby twist. Like most sports films, it's about brotherhood, teamwork, character, etc. And it also suffered from the same annoying film techniques that most sports films exhibit, namely overuse of closeups during action (wish they would show what's actually happening), that annoying sports announcer who doesn't talk anything like a real commentator, etc.

But it was wholly enjoyable, and actually managed to get you to root for a character who at the beginning of the movie was despicable.
