Review of Forever Strong (2008) by Andrew — 04 Jul 2009
This was a really good movie. I thought the story was great. It's about a boy who plays rugby for a highschool team, which is coached by his father. After losing a game, he goes to a wild party with his friends where he drinks and then later drives wrecklessly with his girlfriend in the passenger seat; he loses control of the car and crashes.
Wakes up to find his gf had been tossed out of the car during impact. Because of the wreck he is sent to a juvenile detention facility. It is there that he changes for the better. The acting on pretty much everyone's part was strong especially Faris and McDonough.
It had a few touching moments that I enjoyed. I admit I started to get a little choked up on one of them. But anyways, I do recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good drama or is just a fan of rugby.
