Review of Forever My Girl (2018) by Brian M — 05 Feb 2018

This seems crazy coming from a guy who prefers the action packed, Marvel super hero kind of movies, but I have to say that Forever My Girl really moved me unlike many movies ever have. Jessica Rothe and Alex Roe make this a genuine movie about love, forgiveness, community, strength and the courage to get things right with each other, and their sweet daughter, in the end.

And yes, Abby is a "scene stealer" as advertised, but this is a huge part of the story to create the necessary opening for Josie and Liam to have a shot at renewing their love and getting it all right in the end.

I was sure that this movie would have a twist that would ruin the story, but spoiler alert, sometimes it's okay to have your DREAMS come true. And having music also add to and speak for Liam, in a ways that words couldn't is also just plan magical.

Thank you Jessica and Alex for putting your heart and UK version of "country soul" into this. AMAZING to love, laugh, cry, and rejoice - all in one movie. Thank you to Bethany, the director, for letting this go to screen as one the best love stories ever.
