Review of Foreign Correspondent (1940) by L J — 07 Aug 2007
"I ain't lanky, sir, but I'm quick.".
Even Hitchcock's less-remarkable films are inventive and riveting. Two of the supporting cast (Martin Kosleck & Ian Wolfe) also appeared in some of Universal's Sherlock Holmes films of the period. Look out for the ticket-vendor with the errant moustache!
"Special production effects" (probably not that moustache, though) by William Cameron Menzies, director of Invaders From Mars and Things To Come.
